SANTA CLARA & DUSTIN KERNS BIO:

Learn from the same NCAA program that produced NBA MVP STEVE NASH!!!

The Santa Clara Broncos have long been associated with producing some of Western Canada’s finest basketball talent, from NBA MVP Steve Nash to Brendan Graves & Steve Ross (both from Lambrick Park HS, Victoria, BC) and former WCC MVP Sean Denison (LV Rogers HS, Nelson, BC).   This season former Vancouver College star, Marc Trasolini will be entering his senior season for the Broncos.

Coach Kerns will be entering his fourth season as the Assistant Mens Basketball Coach at Santa Clara University, where he helped lead the Broncos to one of their most successful seasons in 2010-11, where they finished with 24 victories, second most in school history.  Prior to Santa Clara, Kerns spent three years as an assistant coach at Wofford, where he helped the Terriers set a school record for single season wins, including victories over Auburn and Cincinnati.  He has also spent time learning from some other top NCAA coaches across the country in his time at Tennessee (with Buzz Peterson), Tennessee Tech (Mike Sutton), and at Clemon University (under Head Coach Larry Shyatt).
